SEADREAM YACHT CLUB TO CEASE SOUTH AMERICAN ITINERARIES

SeaDream Yacht Club has announced it will not return to a pattern of cruising in South America in the winter season of 2007-2008.

SeaDream II, one of its twin, luxury, mega-yacht cruisers, is being redeployed to a series of five night and nine-night sailings in what it describes as SeaDreams Caribbean. This redeployment will not affect SeaDream I which will continue to operate its published schedules for 2007-2008.

The award-winning, small luxury operator said a multitude of unexpected operational challenges encountered during its inaugural season in South America prompted the decision not to return.

Exceeding guest expectations is what SeaDream has become renowned for, stated Larry Pimentel, President, CEO and Co-Owner. In light of many factors we have encountered in the region---the strict cabotage laws, which forced continuous retooling of itineraries, the recessive regulatory environment, the challenges with provisioning and the current internationally-publicized crime problems in Brazil---we have determined that we are unable to consistently deliver our quality product and service to our guests which is, and will continue to be, our highest priority.

Pimentel has announced a new approach to SeaDream IIs winter 2007-2008 schedule, by introducing SeaDreams Caribbean---largely smaller, less familiar yachting-style ports.
The fifty-five stateroom SeaDream II will use St. Thomas and San Juan as embarkation-debarkation ports. She will sail to such ports as Cruz Bay. St. John; Gustavia, St. Barts; Road Town, Tortola and Peter Island BVI; Spanish Town and North Sound, Virgin Gorda; Culebrita and Esperanza, Vieques, Puerto Rico; Anegada, BVI; Saba, Netherlands Antilles; Charlestown, Nevis; Anguilla, BWI; Margot, St. Martin and Jost van Dyke, BVI.
Guests currently booked on affected voyages will be provided the opportunity to rebook on Caribbean or Mediterranean SeaDream Yacht Club voyages of their choice. Should they prefer to cancel with a full refund that too will be possible.
