SEADREAM YACHT CLUB ANNOUNCES PALM BEACH
Larry Pimentel, Chairman, CEO and Co-Owner of SeaDream Yacht Club said, We are most impressed with the work that has been completed on the new Port of Palm Beach terminal and look forward to embarking and disembarking our guests in such a fine facility. We know they will appreciate the fine hotels, restaurants and other attractions of Palm Beach before and after their SeaDream voyages.
The port and the community are consistent with our ultra-luxury mega-yacht concept. He stated.
SeaDream I and II have just been completely redesigned and refitted at Lloyd Werfts shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany and are now cruising in the Western Mediterranean until they make their transatlantic voyages in late October. SeaDream I will arrive at the Port of Palm Beach November 9 and operate seven-day itineraries from Saturday to Saturday. SeaDream II will operate during the winter season out of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
For the Palm Beach sailings, ports will include Nassau, Rose Island and San Salvador in the Bahamas; the Turks and Caicos and Key West, Florida. In the Caribbean, where the yachts will sail out of St. Thomas they will call on ports in the British Virgin Islands and the Grenadines.
In the Mediterranean the twin yachts will call on such ports as Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon, Seville, Livorno (Florence), Monte Carlo, Portofino, Cannes and St. Tropez as well as a variety of lesser known, offbeat coastal towns and small harbors.
Pimentel said, SeaDream itineraries focus on the smaller, unique yachting ports
Yachting features an open and unstructured ambience and provides guests the ability to fulfill their own dreams at their own pace, he said. No clocks, no crowds, no lines, no stress.
SeaDream Yacht Club is the new yachting venture by Norwegian entrepreneur Atle Brynestad who founded Seabourn Cruise Line and Larry Pimentel, who was president of Seabourn under Brynestad and later president and CEO of the merged Cunard and Seabourn. Pimentel is Chairman and CEO of Coconut Grove, Florida- headquartered SeaDream Yacht Club and a co-owner. Brynestad and Pimentel have brought together a small group of colleagues, most of who were with them earlier at Seabourn and Cunard. Aboard the yachts, the officers and staff are international. Almost all officers and crewmembers have been sailing on their particular yacht for several years. The yachts are also ideal for small meetings and incentive groups and are available for full charter.
