Description
Ascend one of Denmark’s oldest bridges, a privilege shared only with Sidney, New York, and now Middelfart/Fredericia, for unparalleled views over the Little Belt, Funen Island, and Jutland.
Embark on an unforgettable journey starting at the pier, where you'll venture approximately 25 minutes to the base of the historic Old Belt Bridge. Spanning 1178 meters across the Little Belt and linking the Jutland peninsula with the island of Funen, this iconic structure, built between 1925 and 1935, serves as a testament to Denmark's interwar period.
Upon arrival, gear up in a full-body suit, helmet, harness, and headset after a safety briefing. Ascend the stairs to reach the bridge's apex, 60 meters above sea level, where your knowledgeable guide will regale you with tales of the bridge's history and the surrounding area as you traverse its steel expanse. Take in breathtaking views, and on clear days, catch a glimpse of distant yachts dotting the horizon.
Capture the moment with a commemorative photo taken by your guide atop the bridge. Upon your return, visit the bridge's website to retrieve your favorite snapshots, ensuring lasting memories of your elevated experience.
